I usually remix or re-edit songs just for the fun of it, and to fit some tracks better on my dj sets. I have been asked to upload them somewhere quite a few times, so, here you go!

(If you find a broken link please leave a comment so I can upload it again)

G Pal - Ocean Of Blue (Saradis 2009 Remake)

Here it is! My take on the G-Pal classic, in a 09 mainstream house fashion, combining elements from today's club music with the amazing melody from the original track. I didn't include any of the original vocals by AMX because I think they wouldn't sound as good in this style.

FLASHBACK: Aztec Mystic - Jaguar (Saradis Vocal Perversion - 2000)

The original is such an amazing club track, light years ahead of its time, though when it came out I thought it needed some extra drums and some vocals to fit better in a mainstream set, and so I added some drums and the acapella from the Eddie Amador classic House Music. Here is the result:

FLASHBACK: Some Greek Remixes (1998 - 2003)

The first one of those in an exapmle of how a good remix idea doesn't need too much work to have a good result. I made it after the request/idea of a friend (and one of my mentors - Akis Vavaroutas), and because it came out quite nice, I made the second one in the same style a month later.

Popi Asteriadi - Skliro Mou Agori (Saradis Mix - Jul 1998)
Costas Hatzis - An Sarnitho Agapi Mou (Saradis Mix - Aug 1998)

here are two more...
Olympians - Sholio (Saradis Mix - May 1999)
Despina Olympiou - Na Soun Allios (Saradis Mix - Sep 2003)

FLASHBACK - WAAAAY BACK: Some of my early works (1997 - 2000)

These were made at a time when mashups and home-made remixes were a rare thing, especially in Greece. When I hear them I can't believe they are more than 10 years old, I remember making them like it was last year. I'm very proud of them, even though most are full of tonal-musical and production-mastering errors. They are quite simple, but each of them took hours of really hard work because the software that was available at the time couldn't even match up to the worst freeware sequencer/sampler software of today. I didn't make youtube videos for these, so here are the download links:

Sweet Drop - Human Nature (Saradis Re Edit - Jan 1997)
The original was a big club hit in Greece, but I thought the breakdown was long and boring... I had to do something about it :-)

Saradis - It's A Dream (Attack Mix - Sep 1997)
Wow! There was a time when Sweet Dreams had not been remixed and covered a trillion times! The beats are from Progressive Attack by Brooklyn Bounce (!) and there's also a sample from the classic Age Of Love tune. Of all my early works, this one I love the most.

Saradis - Liquid Is Liquid (Armix - Dec 1997)
I had to have a go at the classic Liquid theme, it still sounds magic even today...

Sex Alarm - Siren (Saradis Hablando Mashup - 1997)
90s sexy-house at it's best (or worst?)! I combined the original with samples from the classic Ramirez track and the early 90s LaTour song, People Are Still Having Sex

Saradis - The Bomb Phenomena (Oct 1997)
The Van Helden house bomb with samples from The Bomb by the Bucketheads

Xpact - Xcess (Saradis Lights, Heat, Strobe Mix - 1998)
A simple rework of a big 1997 club hit with an acapella on top (I can't even remember where I found those vocals, if anybody recognizes them, let me know)

Saradis - Devotion (Mix 1 - 1998)
Stadium-house :-) made with a messed up organ loop from Urban Soul's Show Me with the intro from Devotion by Nomad, plus the intro from Live Is Life by Opus (!) and some other loops on top. It even has a low-bpm breakdown! I have to remake this one...

The Tamperer - Feel It (Saradis One More Mix - Jul 1998)
Combining elements of the two mixes on the cd single, along with some filtering and a 2Unlimited (!!!) sample

Matthew Fisher - Why'd I Have To Fall In Love (Saradis Mix - 1998)
When I made this, the original was getting heavy airplay in some stations, and I had to add some beats on top!

Saradis - Comme La Luna (Maracaibo) (Carnival Mix - Jan 1998)
Kiss - I Was Made For Loving You (Saradis Jingo Mix - Feb 1998)
I got my hands on those two just in time for that year's carnival...

Saradis - Miss You All The Time (1999)
I did this when disco house was all the rage, it's somehow boring after a while. Samples Miss You by the great Rolling Stones (oh, it also has a bit from Start Me Up, it was on the same cd)

Saradis - My First Love (Apr 2000)
Another disco-house effort, sampling You'll Never Know by Hi-Gloss

FLASHBACK: Prodigy - No Good (Start The Dance) (All Mixes - Jan 1998, Oct 2003, Feb 2004)

Every amateur remixer/producer has tried to mess with this ultra-classic tune, and I've done it twice! The first mix was an attempt at a kind-of-big-beat remake using some Leftfield samples as well, and I made the second one when electro house was starting to shape up as a genre and become mainstream. I had played the second mix so many times, that at some point I got tired of it and then created Mix 3.

FLASHBACK: Saradis - Sax On The Move (Jun 2004)

Yeap, this is a saxy remake of the famous trance classic by Barthezz. I just added sax and bass over the wonderful drum track by Roger Sanchez (Transatlantins - Mysteriosa Dub) and then I added the "Turn Up That Stereo" acapella by Housology.

Anna Vissi - Stin Pyra (Saradis + Luigi Mix - May 2009)

We had sooo much fun making this one, like two stupid litlle kids wanting to play with the same toy... It has a much harder sound than the original and it is totally club-oriented. We made it an official entry at the Anna Vissi remix contest, but it seems like there is still a judging process going on (since June 09). Guess we didn't win, but we had a great time making it!

Chimo Bayo - Asi Me Gusta Mi (Saradis Summer Mix - May 2008)

I came up with this while browsing through my 90s music folder, I just thought those vocals would fit brilliantly over a reggaeton beat (and they did!). The "Summer mix" has 2 reggaeton breaks, the "No More Versions Version" has one (bigger) reggaeton break.

Nicole Scherzinger - Whatever You Like (Saradis Mix - Dec 2007)

I think it's fair to start this blog with my most known work. While most people say this is my best mix ever, I must disagree and say it was just a brilliant idea (that I had while playing with the original over Rob Boskamp's "Get Your Ass Up")
